West Salem, Ohio – American Augers is proud to announce a product update to the low profile and lightweight 24/30-150 auger boring machine.

The 24/30-150 has been upgraded to an interim Tier IV DEUTZ D2011LOI diesel engine that is rated at 46 HP (34.3 kW).

The rugged and dependable 24/30-150 is mechanically capable of 150,000 lbs. (68 Tonnes) of total thrust, features a maximum torque rating  of 29,810 ft-lbs. (40,420 Nm), a 4 speed constant mesh transmission, and a spring applied 10 inch diameter (254 mm) single disk-hydraulically assisted clutch. The standard 24 inch (610 mm) master pusher is adaptable to a working range of 4 to 30 inch (102- 762 mm) casing diameter.

The design benefits of the 24/30-150 includes unitized box frame construction that provides a lasting alignment of the power train, a low centerline and wide stance for increased stability, as well as a semi-automatic push bar that securely locks to the tracks for a solid push.
